Privacy Policy — Miner Sweeper

Effective date: October 27, 2026

Miner Sweeper is a voxel 3D Minesweeper puzzle game for Android and iOS. It is developed and published by Dreamtime LLC, a Washington limited liability company that publishes games under the name Dreamtime Games ("Dreamtime," "we," or "us").

This policy explains what information is handled when you play Miner Sweeper, use its online features, make purchases, redeem a code, or watch an advertisement. The game is made to be safe for players of every age, including children, so it is built to use as little information as possible. Some features described here are available only on certain platforms. You can also read this policy inside the game, under Settings → Privacy policy.

In Short

Game Accounts and Sign-In

Miner Sweeper uses Microsoft PlayFab for online game services. The first time you play online, the game creates an anonymous guest account. The account is identified by a random game identifier that the app generates on your device. It is not made from any device identifier (such as the Android ID or Apple's identifier for vendor), it is not your advertising ID, and it contains no name, email address, or other personal details. Settings → Account shows your account's Player ID, a code you can include when you contact us about your account.

You can optionally link your game account to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) so that your progress is saved to your Apple or Google gamer account and can be recovered or used on another device. If you do, we receive only the platform's player identifier and the verification data needed to link it to your game account. We do not receive your Apple or Google password, and we do not use your Game Center or Google Play Games name, picture, or friends in the game. Signing in is never required to play, to use leaderboards, or to make a purchase. Because a child's account on these services is managed by a parent or guardian, we recommend that a parent decide whether a child signs in.

Gameplay, Progress, and Leaderboards

Settings such as controls, graphics, and audio stay on your device. Puzzles you have started but not finished are also kept on your device.

With online features on, the game sends the following to PlayFab, linked to your anonymous game account:

The daily puzzle leaderboard shows each ranked player's generated nickname, difficulty, time, and rank to other players. Nicknames are made by the game from a fixed list of safe words and a number (for example, "Brave Miner 4821"). The game gives you one the first time you play online, and you can change it in Settings → Account only to another choice from the same lists; it is stored with your game account so the leaderboards can show it. The nickname is shown by default; you can turn off Show my nickname on leaderboards in Settings → Account at any time. The game then replaces the name stored with your game account by a generic code (for example "Hidden-48213977") that no leaderboard displays, and other players see an unrelated made-up name in its place. Turning the switch back on restores your nickname. If you change the switch while offline, it takes effect the next time the game is online. The game never asks for or shows a real name, and players cannot type free text, upload pictures, or message each other. Leaderboard entries are tied to your anonymous game account, which we can see but which does not identify you personally.

We do not run a separate analytics or crash-reporting service in the game.

Purchases

Google Play handles Android purchases, and Apple handles iOS purchases. Parents can control a child's purchases with Google Play's Family Link and Apple's Ask to Buy and Screen Time. The game and PlayFab receive only what is needed to deliver and restore what you bought: the product identifier, a purchase receipt or validation token, an order or transaction identifier, and the resulting token or unlock. On iOS, the purchase record Apple signs also states the purchase date, the store country and the price paid. We do not receive your name, payment-card details, or billing address from Google or Apple. Purchases can be restored through your Google Play or Apple account, whether or not you sign in to Game Center or Google Play Games. Pending purchase records are kept on your device until processing completes.

Redeem Codes

Settings → Account → Redeem a code lets you enter a code we hand out, for example to app reviewers or as a gift, to unlock puzzle packs or tokens. The code you type is sent to our service (Microsoft PlayFab) only to check it. We do not keep the codes themselves, only a scrambled (hashed) form of each one. If the code works, a record of which code was used, the date, and what it unlocked is stored with your anonymous game account, so the unlock stays when you reinstall the game or sign in on another device. To stop codes from being guessed, the times of failed attempts are also kept with your game account for one hour. Redeeming a code needs no sign-in, name, or email address, and these records are deleted with Delete my data.

Advertising and Your Choices

Miner Sweeper offers optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob: you choose to watch an ad in exchange for a token. An ad is never shown automatically and never during a puzzle: it plays only when you tap to watch one, and you can play without ever watching one. The game offers an ad on the daily puzzle's screens when you are out of tokens (for example after an explosion in a daily puzzle), always as one optional choice next to the others. Players who have bought the full game (Complete) see no ad offers.

Because children may play, every ad request is handled the same way for every player:

Google still has to receive some technical information to deliver and measure an ad and to prevent fraud. This can include your IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), device and app information such as model, operating system version, and app version, how the ad was shown, and diagnostic information. For requests marked child-directed, Google limits how this information may be used; see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Because every request is marked as coming from a user under the age of consent, the game does not show Google's consent form, and ads do not wait for a consent decision. At start-up the game does ask Google's consent service (User Messaging Platform) for its status, with that same under-age marking. Because ads are non-personalized and child-directed, there is no ad-personalization choice to make in the game. The game also does not send your anonymous game account identifier to Google with ad requests.

The same rules apply on Android and iOS.

Rewards for Ads

When you watch a rewarded ad, the game credits one token, up to five a day, and watching all five unlocks twelve hours of unlimited play. To do this, the game keeps a record of the date, how many ads you have watched that day, and when your unlimited window ends, and PlayFab keeps the same record with your anonymous game account when your token balance is stored online. The game counts these rewards itself on your device and, where your token balance is stored online, in your PlayFab game account. Our servers do not receive any record of your ads from Google.

Information We Do Not Collect

Miner Sweeper does not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, photos, videos, voice or audio, contacts, calendar, files, messages, health data, or precise location. It does not request the location, contacts, camera, or microphone permissions. The game has no chat and no way to create or share content. This does not prevent service providers from receiving network information such as an IP address, or from estimating a general location from it.

Service Providers and Information Sharing

We use these service providers to operate the game, and we share with them only the information needed for the features described above:

We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it to build advertising profiles. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights, safety, or security of players, us, or others.

Microsoft (PlayFab and Azure), Google, and Apple may process information in the United States and other countries, which can be outside your country. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the data processing terms and safeguards these providers offer. Their handling of information is also described in Microsoft's Privacy Statement, Google's Privacy Policy, and Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy

Miner Sweeper is a family-friendly game that children, including children under 13, may play. We treat every player as a child: there is no age screen and every player gets the same protections. The game does not use any information for behavioral advertising, tracking, or profiling, and it does not give children a way to chat, post, or share personal information with anyone.

The only information the game handles from a child is the minimum needed to run the game: an anonymous game identifier, gameplay progress and daily results, a generated leaderboard nickname, token, purchase, and redeemed-code records, and a limited amount of technical information that Google needs to deliver and secure a rewarded ad (as described above). We use this information only to operate and maintain the game, such as saving progress, running leaderboards, delivering purchases and rewards, preventing fraud, and fixing errors. This is the kind of use the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) calls "support for the internal operations" of an app. We do not knowingly ask a child for, or collect from a child, personal information such as a name, email address, or location, and we do not sell it or use it for any other purpose.

Parents and guardians can delete their child's game account and its data from inside the game (Settings → Account → Delete my data), or contact us at support@dreamti.me to ask what information we hold about their child's game account, to have it deleted, or to refuse any further collection of it. See Data Retention and Deletion for both ways. We may ask for information to confirm that the account is your child's. If you believe a child has given us personal information by some other means, contact us and we will delete it.

Purchases and optional sign-in involve Google or Apple accounts, which a parent or guardian manages for a child. Parents can use Google Play Family Link and Apple Family Sharing, Ask to Buy, and Screen Time to approve or block purchases and to control sign-in.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your anonymous game account and its progress, purchase, token, redeemed-code, and reward records until you delete them. We do not automatically delete inactive accounts: your data stays until you delete it in the game (Settings → Account → Delete my data) or ask us to delete it by email, as described below. Some records are short-lived by design: each daily leaderboard starts fresh every day (UTC), uploads that cannot be delivered are discarded from your device's waiting list after three days, failed redeem-code attempts are forgotten after one hour, the list of your recent daily clears kept on our service holds only the last 40 days, and daily results older than about a year (400 days) are removed from your cloud save. Google, Apple, and Microsoft also apply their own retention practices.

You, or a parent or guardian, can delete the game account and its data at any time, in two ways:

Deleting removes the game account and its data, and our service provider usually completes it within minutes. The random identifier the app used to sign in may remain on the provider's account record without any game data attached, and the app never uses it again. Microsoft PlayFab may keep limited service logs, such as a history of service events like sign-ins, under Microsoft's own terms and retention practices, which we do not control. Google and Apple keep their own records of purchases.

Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device (subject to your device's backup settings) but does not itself delete the account records on our servers: use Delete my data in the game first, or email us. Requests concerning your Google, Apple, or Microsoft account, or your Game Center or Google Play Games data, should also be sent to that provider.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can delete your data yourself in the game (Settings → Account → Delete my data). To use any of these rights, email support@dreamti.me. A parent or guardian can do this on behalf of a child. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and doing so does not affect what happened before.

Security

Miner Sweeper uses encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections for its online services. Players cannot write directly to leaderboards, purchases, or token balances; those are checked and applied by our service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Miner Sweeper changes. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. If we ever make a material change to how we handle children's information, we will give parents notice before applying it to existing accounts, as the law requires.
